CHRISTIAN MOTHER'S

Organized June 1907
100 years of service to St. Boniface and the Stuart Community

Being a religious group, our main focus is centered on our church and school activities. We are a very involved and active group. We meet once a month on the second Monday at 7:15 P.M. for Rosary with various intention each month and our meeting follows. We are divided into four groups with a chairman and co-chairman of each group. For certain projects we work as a unified group.

Some of our projects are:
· Serve funeral dinners, coffee and bars after the wake service
· Smorgasbord
· Lunch stand at the Church auction annually
· Lunch stand for a public sale
· Sponsor bingo at Parkside Manor monthly
· Give one boy's and one girl's ($200) scholarship to students graduating from Stuart Public School

· Painted, carpeted & wallpapered church basement

Money raised from our projects goes for the upkeep of St. Boniface Church, Rectory and St. Boniface School. All these functions are open to the community as well as St. Boniface parish.
We present a crucifix to each senior girl graduate, and the Knights of Columbus honor the boy graduates.
Flowers are donated to the church at Christmas and Easter as well as monetary gifts to the school, church, and rectory for needed items and upkeep.

The offices are a position of two years. Any lady, single or married, in good standing with the Catholic Church, may join the Christian Mothers.

There are five groups who sponsor Bingo at Parkside Manor. They are responsible for getting workers and prizes when it is their turn.
