The FFA is a national youth organization. FFA makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success through agricultural education.
The Stuart FFA Chapter was chartered in 1999, but has been in existence since 1997, started through a cooperative program with Butte Public School via interactive television (ITV). The chapter currently has 42 members; 37 in-school and 5 out-of-school members. FFA members are involved in livestock selection contests, leadership skill events and agricultural education/career development events throughout the year. They also participate in state and national conventions. They promote agricultural safety and community service work.
