COMMUNITY / SCHOOL REVITALIZATION COMMITTEE

Our committee was organized in 1998 to take part in a one-year program developed by Dr. Edward Nelson from Chadron State College. We attended networking conferences together with committees from Ainsworth, Bassett and Springview to share our ideas and establish a communication avenue between our communities as well as within our own community.
Our ultimate goal is to keep our community growing with the times and strengthen the bond between our children and our community. The mix of members from school administration, teachers, students and business community is important to the success of our goals. The children of our community are its future and keeping a strong means of communication between our community and schools is the first step in establishing a sense of community pride that will grow with our youth.

Our committee is open to anyone interested in joining.

Goals:
· Continue wiht plans for the renovation project of the Murphy Building into a center that will accommodate the citizens of the Stuart Community with assistance of school organizations and community organizations.
· Complete the planning process of the Welcome sign on the east side of Stuart.
