Stuart Village Manor, Inc. is a non-profit corporation incorporated in 1970 for the purpose of providing moderate and low income housing for the community of Stuart.
The Corporation was originally formed with 30 shareholders that paid a $100.00 lifetime membership. Additional members have paid $100.00 in support of the housing projects. New members are welcome to join by paying a $100.00 membership fee at anytime. Current membership is at 31.

History of Development
1971 - Built Duplex Unit for low to moderate income renters with USDA Loan funding
1983 - Built Fourplex Unit for low income renters with USDA Loan funding
1996 - Built Fourplex Unit for low to moderate income renters with USDA loan and
a Home Grant of $40,000.00

Some units are currently approved for Rental Assistance for those renters who qualify due to income.

Future Goals
Review the need for additional low to moderate income or high-income housing and construct rental housing to meet the needs of the Stuart Community.
