Our new bathing system is installed, updating a system that has been in use for 30 years. This system features a side entry door that allows for easier access during bathing, a larger tub area for more comfort, as well as more user-friendly features. 2004 renovations to the facility have been landscaping and adding a walking track to the backyard for resident use and enjoyment. The kitchen area also received a face-lift with the installation of new countertops and a fresh coat of paint. Residents also are enjoying the purchase of a handicap accessible bus. The bus has room to comfortably seat 11 residents in standard seats and two residents in wheel chairs.
	Most of the funds to purchase these items or do this kind of work come from donations to the facility. Anytime someone wishes to make a donation to Parkside Manor they have the opportunity to designate what the money will be used for or they can allow it to be put into a general account that is earmarked for facility improvements that benefit the residents.
